HR Country Manager
Halliburton is seeking a dynamic and inspiring HR Country Manager to lead our HR function in Norway. This pivotal role will manage a skilled team of 18-20 HR professionals supporting over 2,300 employees across Stavanger and Bergen.

About the Role
You will manage the HR team and lead HR services for Halliburton’s employees in Norway. You will develop and execute HR solutions aligned with business goals.
You will lead the HR team through a period of change, building clarity, cohesion, and trust. Working in a matrix organisation, you will collaborate with regional and global HR leaders as well as local business executives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Under broad direction, serves as a strategic HR business partner Manager to the product service line (PSL), region or functional senior leadership by driving the development and execution of mid-size people solutions to positively impact business goals.
- Executes on people processes and services pursuant to the PSL, region or functional business strategy.
- Ensures the transfer of people management expertise to business leaders and drives experiential learning.
- Consults with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and business unit leaders on the efficient and effective delivery of HR products and services.
- Provides oversight and support to address business needs through means such as development of leadership, workforce planning, succession planning, top talent management, technical training and competency development initiatives.
- Drives organizational effectiveness (change management, team effectiveness, performance management, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, etc.) by consulting with leaders to identify challenges and delivering solutions and/or engaging with other parties within HR to provide necessary expertise.
- Oversees the implementation of new policies, plans and procedures in partnership with COE leads.
- Direct management responsibilities may include managing, coaching and mentoring people, developing and executing processes, or both.
You will also collaborate with Halliburton's global HR network to implement effective HR solutions tailored to Norway. You will report to the Senior Regional HR Manager for EESSA and have a matrix reporting line to the Norway Area Vice President.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced HR leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to navigate complexity. You have a solid undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or other related discipline, and broad experience across core HR disciplines—including previous leadership responsibility.
You're confident operating within a global corporate framework. You are a visible and empathetic leader who fosters psychological safety, open communication, and trust.
You are confident in making decisions, driving change, and taking ownership in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly, build trust, and bring people with you through change. Your ability to influence senior leaders, while also managing day-to-day HR operations, will be key to your success.
