In the context of its dynamic expansion, The Quartz Corp (TQC) is looking for a talented candidate to fill the position of Group Finance Manager at our headquarters at Lysaker, Norway. In this role you'll have the overall responsibility of the Groups financial reporting processes and interactions with our finance departments in Drag and Spruce Pine (US). You will also be an important Business Partner for the local Management and other stakeholders in the Group.
TQC has developed a unique position in several high-tech value chains in Solar, Semiconductor, Optical Fibre and is now facing the excitement, and the responsibility, of playing a key role in energy transition.
As a matter of fact, TQC’s products are critical in the manufacturing of Solar cells. In this context, it is experiencing a growth period, supported by material investment programs both in the USA and in Norway where the main production sites are hosted.
Together with such growth comes the need to upscale the organization and bring talents to build and define the organization of tomorrow. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing and presenting monthly and quarterly financials
- Preparing and presenting Group Consolidation
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Improving end-to-end accounting practices
- Identifying risks and propose solutions
- Primary point of contact for external auditors
- Financial reporting, both internal management reporting and external such as shareholder, tax and other statutory reporting
- Ensuring the company is in compliance with financial laws and regulations
- Working closely with the business executive management team
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics with strong academic records
- Ideally 5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with accounting and/or controlling in an international manufacturing environment utilizing IFRS
- Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite experience an added plus) and consolidation tools
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and preferably also experienced user of PowerBI or similar
