The role:

Noratel is seeking a Group Finance Manager to work closely with the CFO as a strategic business partner to business leaders across the Group. You will be responsible for providing financial insight into the commercial and operational activities on a group-level, and support business leaders to make recommendations on how to drive profitable growth and efficiency. This is a great opportunity to play a significant part in Noratel's growth and success.

The Group Finance Manager will be reporting directly to the Group CFO, and be part of the Group Finance Leadership Team located at Lierstranda, Norway.


Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CFO as a strategic business partner, monitoring financial performance and providing insightful analysis and recommendations
  • Take ownership of working capital optimization and improvement projects, monitoring progress across the Group
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and financial measures to track performance and recommend improvements (gross margin performance, tracking financial impact of sales and cost price variations, sales price increases, and labor utilization/efficiency in manufacturing)
  • Support the Group Finance Controller in the monthly Group Reporting and forecast process
  • Participate in financial planning and budgeting processes, including forecasting
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for senior leadership, conveying financial insights and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Promote compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and minimizing financial risk
  • Foster a culture of continuous development within the Noratel Finance community, providing training and guidance


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a master’s degree considered a plus
  • Solid experience in finance and accounting, with a good understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, balance sheet, and cash flow management
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience working with consolidation and BI tools and a high degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience from production/ industry is considered a plus
  • Professional fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written, is required
