Dovista is looking for a strategic and business-minded Controller

Dovista is now in an exciting restructuring phase and is looking for a Commercial Business Controller for a key role in the company. The position is newly created and in addition to creating economic insight, you will be an important business partner for the commercial business in Norway. With responsibility for budget and forecast work, monthly economic results, as well as communication flow within economics and sales, this is a highly visible role in the company. We are looking for you with an interest in strategy, and who wants to be close to the business. You will work closely with sales directors in Dovista, and the position reports to Senior Manager Commercial Finance in Sweden.

 

Your working day includes e.g

  • Responsible for monthly closing
  • Forecast and budget work for Dovista NO
  • Initiate improvements with a focus on sales, improvement of the gross margin and ordering process
  • Support the Senior Manager Commercial Finance with various analyses, reports and suggestions for improvements
  • Ad hoc analyzes and reports to Dovista NO
  • Identification of space for cost improvement and sales

We are looking for you who are

  •  Structured, proactive and with good business understanding
  •  System and technical interest
  •  Good collaboration and communication skills
  •  Results oriented
  •  Good business understanding with a good overview and ability to see the whole
  • Ability to work independently, balancing routine responsibilities with ad-hoc requests

Qualifications

  • Higher economic education
  • Good language skills in English
  • Language skills in Norway are meritorious
  • Previous experience from controlling or at least 2 years in auditing
  • Previous experience as a commercial/sales controller is an advantage
  • Interested in technology and efficient IT processes as well as good knowledge of Excel

This position will be working from our offices in Stockholm. Travelling to Norway about 1 week a month is to be expected in the beginning.
