CSAM’s leading Nordic position as a niche player within e-health has been created based on acquisitions and business development within our niches and a focus on building long-term revenue streams with our large customers and partners.

This position is an ideal opportunity for a high-performing commercial profile, experienced in driving business potential of multiple companies in a vast international public health and technology market. 

Position Summary
A member of the CSAM Management Team, our new Business Area Director will be responsible for developing the largest area of our profitably growing organic business – the Niche Division. You will integrate new business through new acquisitions in the years to come. You will proactively develop, implement, and manage CSAM’s business potential in a complex and evolving product and customer matrix. The position will report directly to our CEO.

Main responsibilities

  • Implement strategic and commercial activities to achieve defined business goals
  • Manage and drive profitability in CSAMs portfolio of niches, sales, products and services
  • Develop key customer relationships that secure CSAM as a preferred and trusted partner
  • Develop and implement key account teams, programs and activities to secure sustainable recurring revenues and organic growth
  • Engage and involve internal business partners and relevant stakeholders
  • Efficiently manage a dynamic global commercial focus across all key markets
  • Be a central part of our growth strategy processes, mainly by receiving acquisition targets and integrating them efficiently into the current organic business 

Preferred qualifications

  • Senior professional with 10+ years’ leadership experience from relevant areas and positions
  • Possess a natural commercial drive and want to make a difference
  • Have a track record from a private business with public customers
  • Proven experience driving multiple activities in an international highly regulated industry. This means patience and drive at the same time
  • Have experienced how M&A processes affect a business and its culture
  • Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages, both orally and in writing
  • Preferably a bachelor or master’s degree within business or other relevant background 
  • Alternative relevant experience will be considered
