Regional Business Controller

The position covers our Sales and New Ventures activities in Europe. As our Regional Business Controller you will be the lead finance person in one of our key Business Regions and support two highly qualified business teams. You will be part of the regional management teams and also be a part of the Finance & Business Control team, reporting to VP & Finance Manager.

Main tasks
  • Be a strategic and operational Business Partner for the Sales and New Ventures business teams in Europe
  • Manage prognosis updates, business support and analyses
  • Participate in optimizing processes and establish high quality finance structures  
  • Be involved in contract bids, business plans, investment analyses and decision support
  • Produce and report monthly analysis of business performance in close cooperation with business line managers
  • Cooperate with the business teams to ensure that development in the sales and leads pipeline is correctly reported
  • Be involved in optimizing resource utilization, cost levels and working capital
  • Be the lead person for administrating revenue and cost share balances towards JV partners
  • Facilitate good communication and common understanding between business management and finance functions
  • Be the main regional point of contact for the Financial Reporting Organization (FARO), and participate in quality assurance of reported numbers
  • Ensure anti-corruption and Code of Conduct compliance regarding financial matters
Professional Competencies
  • Finance or business administration degree preferably on Masters level
  • Experience from financial management in international business, consulting or senior controller positions
  • Efficient user of Microsoft office applications and analytic/BI applications

  • Analytical mindset with ability to structure large volumes of information
